Main Street USA is most likely the first place you will step foot in(unless you took the monorail in). Here is where most of the guest service places are located. If you need anything from a locker to finding a lost child you will do it on Main Street. One of the parks better, but usually overlooked attractions is located right inside the gates on the East (right) side of the street, next to the bank. It is the Great Moment with Mr. Lincoln. In this theater you are presented a brief history lesson and then an audioanimatronic figure of President Lincoln addresses you. This show was created by Walt Disney for the 1964 World's fair in New York and then moved to Disneyland after the fair closed. In 2001 the show was redone and now takes advantage of "3D Audio". I personally do not like the new show as much as the old one, but its still work checking out. The Lincoln figure is really amazing. The show runs continuously all day and there is usually never a line. Also it is a climate controlled building so if your looking to escape the outside weather it is a great place to hang out.

The one thing you must do is see a parade on Main Street. If you have never seen or heard about Disney parades they are usually exceptional.

The parade usually is tied to the most recent or upcoming Disney animated feature or the park's anniversary.

Main Street also offers you the prime viewing location for Disneyland's newest fireworks show. Normal Disney fireworks shows blow away most other fireworks shows, Remember even makes other Disney shows look bad. It's an exceptional combination of fireworks, music and lights.
