Disneyland Decorations

Fantasyland: Fantasyland does not have that much decorated in the main section of the land, but the "fringes" have a lot. I am referring to the castle area and the Small World Mall. Around Sleeping Beauty's Castle you can always find that "perfect picture" showing off the castle and the holiday decorations (both night and day)…

Main Street USA: Main Street is decorated to bring to mind the old fashion small town Christmas. There is a huge tree in the center of town square. Wreaths hanging on most street lamps. Garlands hung across the streets and around the buildings. As you approach the hub you can see the castle all decked out and the hub itself with holiday flowers and decorations. Also be sure to catch the entertainment on Main Street. You can find carolers strolling around, or bands.

New Orleans Sqaure: New Orleans Square gets a full holiday makeover to transport you to a Christmas in the Bayou. There are lights everywhere and with interesting decorations (note the alligator in the wreath). In 1999 they did a really cool show. It was sort of a battle of the bands between a band on the Mark Twain and one in New Orleans Square. The show did not reappear in 2000, but the decorations did.

Toontown: In Mickey's Toontown you can see how each character decorates their house for the holidays

Critter Country used to play host to one of my favorite shows, the Country Bear Jamborees Christmas show. Unfortunately this was removed when they created the Winnie the Pooh attraction...
