After spending time at Blizzard Beach no other
ordinary waterpark will do. The back story on the park is that there
was a freak winter storm in Florida, so they created a ski resort.
The snow melted and the place was turned into a waterpark.
The only thing I did not like about the park is
its location. When going to Typhoon
Lagoon or even River Country the water park is sort of off by itself and hidden
away a little which I think adds to the park. Blizard Beach is located
right along side a road and in plain site. The park really doesn't
have to be in that location.
The slides are much more impressive than the other
Disney water parks. The main pool is not as large as Typhoon Lagoon's,
but it works.
The other thing we did not like about Blizzard
Beach is that there was not as much shade as the other water parks.
You always felt like you were standing out in the sun. They had
umbrella's up along the lines but they didn't help too much.
