EPCOT - Italy

Italy appears to be one of the more detailed pavilions to us. It stretches from the edge of the lagoon with the gondola landings back to Alfredos which is located on the far side of the pavilion. Like many of the others the shops and restuarants are located along a single courtyard. The centerpiece of this pavilion is the bell tower(Campanile) and elevated courtyard which lend themselves to some great photo ops.

Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

Italy usually is not that crowded, so it's a good place to visit during the most crowded times of day, but on the other hand there is not that much to do there either.

There are no major attractions in Italy. From the gondola landing you have a really good place to take pictures across World Showcase lagoon. If you eat at Alfredo's Ristorante and do not see you favorite Italian dish (this does not include pizza) on the menu, be sure to ask your server or the chef. The servers and chef are usually very accommodating.
