Construction Progress :

The construction progress section lets you track the progress of various construction and rehab projects at the Disneyland Resort. Each trip I make to the park I add pictures to the section and over the months/years of the construction you can literally watch the project come to life.

The first section below contains the current projects I am following. Below that are archived projects guests have requested to see and the final section on the page shows our offline archive (you may request any section from there by dropping us an email).

If you have some images to share or a comment drop us an email at construction@disneygeek.com

We start following this new night time lagoon show in 2007 with a sighting of some survey work and then some test equipment in the Bay at Disney's California Adventure. The rumor is this show will debut in late 2008 or early 2009 but no official announcement has been made. There was a piece of concept art in the 2006 Disney Annual Report though.

    • Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - Sub Testing (Last updated May 18, 2007)- To not clog up the progress shots with a lot of somewhat repetitive shots here is a section devoted to Sub testing.. you will see several shots of the subs going around the lagoon in various areas.

    • My first visit to the subs (June 15, 2007) - This section includes shots of the queue, subs in the lagoon, and my first ride through. Many of these shots were featured in the June 15th Disneyland Update but there are a couple more in this section.
