Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
New billboards are up for Toy Story, and the one is still being repaired from the tram accident.
There were also signs along the tram stop areas for the new Honda promotion
A close up of the sign
Better shots of the large billboards
A couple grad nite sights left out
The other side of the sign
Green Army Men greet you as you arrive and direct you to DCA to see Toy Story Mania
A camera crew out filming the army men
Near the security tents another large Honda sign
Another large sign near the ticket booths for Toy Story
On the back of the Toy Story sign a way to get DD coupons (anyone try this, curious what they are).
All the posters on the ticket booths are now Toy Story
A new Honda Pilot sits near DCAs entrance
Work continues on the project at the Grand CA that backs up to Downtown Disney
the mill at GRR is still under wraps
A look out on the Bay
The extended queue for Toy Story stretches to the Cove Bar
This are is roped off for the queue
Still no sign of the line, guess the mid 90s have made it a bit shorter, the CM said it was about an hour twenty.
Its 50 minutes once you cross the walkway.
Mr. Potato Head was behind his curtain again/still.
The main part of the line is out in the elements, that seems like a potential problem. Only the last 20 minutes or so is covered and that has poor circulation so its even hotter than out in the sun.
Looking at the line from near the Midway Games
Speaking of which there were people actually playing in the mid afternoon, guess the new attraction is having some impact on the area
The Wharf area is back to normal.
The new pin trading quest for the summer.
Noticed the postage rate is gone from the stamp (there was one right, I vaguely remember commenting on how it was out of date at 37 cents or something like that)
Heading over to Disneyland, the tailgate on the Pilot was down.
The canon is back.
Stopped for some water at Coke Corner and noticed a Grad Nite sign up on the menu still
The line board around 2:20.
The College Band at their 2:20 set at Plaza Gardens
One of two Trojans in the band this year(well three if you count the director), FIGHT ON!!
Taters of the Lost Ark.. thought that was funny.
A couple of people painting near Big Thunder
What they were looking at..
Hmm.. 7 people in line for Casey Jr.. that is a rare find.
So I went for a ride.
A decent view of the tree that supports Tinker Bells flight.
Out by Small World not much new.. the entrance sign is now behind tarps
Looks like the railings will be painted soon.
The fire truck is back out in Toontown
The walls around the gas station are down, looks like the pavement was replaced and that is about it.
The tarps are down on Donalds, but the walls are still up
The boat looks great
They were still applying finishing touches
Also noticed the oil/gas barrels are still not back.
A smoking area has been set up at the end of the dock.
There are signs saying where it is, but I noticed several people thinking the entire area was.
There are signs up in the old area where the Nemo queue now goes sometimes directing you to the gardens area
Over at Innoventions the ramp has been cleared of its two way traffic markings, but the lower level is still not open.
A Club Penguin display has been added to one of the old VMK kiosks
Another new game
As I mentioned the downstairs area is still off limits, but the walls are down so you can look into the area.
The tree stayed in the middle.
The Power City game was down.
So now several pages looking down at hte house of the future, oops I mean the all new Dream House
Notice the table (a better shot in a few pages)
The lights appear to be LEDs
A better shot of that table, which is based on the original house of tomorrow.
The smoking area has been removed from here.. finally.
The tarps and walls are down by the tour garden
In the Greetings from California store there was a display of merchandise for the Camp Rock (which premiered on Disney Channel Friday night)
The walls are down for the new seating area
I do not think I had shots of this ads, that I am assuming went up when all the others around the parks went up.
Most of the old tables along the sidewalk have been moved, there were a a couple still out on either side of the hot dog stand.
The new seating area
Not sure why it needs a sign indicating what it is..
It appears that all the Muppets props/signage stayed
The movie posters are always great! Men in Plaid.. protecting the Old from the Young of the Universe
Cut through the toy store and spotted these aliens.. wonder how much control you get..
Also Wall-E merchandise is starting to appear on the shelves
The Flag Retreat
Main Street is all red, white, and blue for the summer.
The corn is growing nicely in Tomorrowland.
There were quite a few Game Squad groups out along Main Street and its surrounding areas
This was odd.. a trash can next to the trash can, this seemed to amuse the CMs too as no one seemed to know where it came from or why it was there, this was near the Castle.
The College Band
Random Nemo Merchandise, I still find it weird to have Mickey driving the sub..
The College Band at Tomorrowland Terrace
Another pin cart in Frontierland
A Pirates popcorn bucket
That is a great prize... too bad I have never won anything at Disneyland (I have gotten a couple Fastpasses and a towncar ride down at Walt Disney World though)
The line board around 7pm
The 7:05 set on Main Street for the College Band
Over to DCA, the extended queue has been picked up
There was a mob of guests lined up waiting for Toy Story to re-open (it had been down for about 45 minutes according to the CM I spoke to)
It was about 45 minutes later that I made it onto the attraction, it was down for another 20 or so then it was about a 25 minute wait to get on.
My score was worse than last time, I guess I was taking too many pictures.
Actually the high scores for the day are lower too.
The current guidemaps
The inside flap
The note for Toy Story
The description for Toy Story
Over at Disneyland the Innoventions description now has the new house listed.
